Thetime-evolutionarypropertiesofastandard?±-typediskundertheinfluenceofastrongradiationfield(a€??2draga€?)isinvestigated.Viscousdiffusiontendstotransportangularmomentumfromtheinnerportionsoutward,whereasComptondragefficientlyremovesangularmomentumatlargeradii.Asaresult,botheffectsreinforceeachother,promotingamorerapidaccretion,comparedwiththosecasesintheabsenceofeitherofthetwoprocesses.Theeffectsofradiationdragcanbeunderstoodbysimpletransformationsoftheradiusandtime;ifthekinematicviscosityvariesasva??rawithabeingaconstant,andiftheangularfrequencyis??a??ra?’3/2,forexample,thesurfacedensityevolvesas$$Sigma(r,t)=e^{4etat}f(r^prime,t^prime)$$with$$r^primeequivre^{2etat}$$and$$t^primeequiv(e^{netat}-1)/(neta)$$,where$$f(r,t)$$isthe?￡evolutionwithoutradiationdrag,?2isthereciprocalofthedragtimescale,andn=4a€“2a.Asaconsequence,thediskisexponentiallycontractingwithtime.
