The2.1-sanomalousX-raypulsar1E1547.0a?’5408exhibitedanX-rayoutburston2009January22,emittingalargenumberofshortbursts.Thewide-bandall-skymonitor(WAM)on-boardSuzakudetectedatleast254burstsinthe160??keVa€“6.2a€‰MeVbandovertheperiodofJanuary2200:57a€“17:02UTfromthedirectionof1Ea€‰1547.0a?’5408.Oneofthesebursts,whichoccurredat06:45:13,producedthebrightestfluenceinthe0.5a€“6.2a€‰MeVrange,withanaveraged0.16a€“6.2a€‰MeVfluxandextrapolated25??keVa€“2a€‰MeVfluenceofabout1a€‰?—a€‰10a?’5a€‰erg??cma?’2a€‰sa?’1andabout3a€‰?—a€‰10a?’4a€‰erg??cma?’2,respectively.Afterpile-upcorrections,thetime-resolvedWAMspectraofthisburstwerewell-fittedinthe0.16a€“6.2a€‰MeVrangebytwo-componentmodels;specifically,ablackbodyplusanopticallythinthermalbremsstrahlungoracombinationofablackbodyandapower-lawcomponentwithanexponentialcut-off.Theseresultsarecomparedwithpreviousworksreportingthepersistentemissionandweakershortburstsfollowedbythesameoutburst.
