WereportontheT90andT50durationdistributionsandtheirrelationswithspectralhardnessusing1464gamma-raybursts(GRBs),whichwereobservedbytheSuzakuWide-bandAll-skyMonitor(WAM)from2005August4to2010December29.Thedurationdistributionisclearlybimodalinthreeenergyranges(50a€“120,120a€“250,and250a€“550a€‰keV),butisunclearinthe550a€“5000a€‰keVrange,probablybecauseofthelimitedsamplesize.TheWAMdurationsdecreasewithenergyaccordingtoapower-lawindexofa?’0.058(a?’0.034,+0.033).Thehardnessa€“durationrelationrevealsthepresenceofshorta€“hardandlonga€“softGRBs.Theshort:longeventratiotendstobehigherwithincreasingenergy.WecomparedtheWAMdistributionwithonesmeasuredbyeightotherGRBinstruments.TheWAMT90distributionisverysimilartothoseofINTEGRAL/SPI-ACSandGranat/PHEBUS,andleastlikelytomatchtheSwift/BATdistribution.TheWAMshort:longeventratio(0.25:0.75)ismuchdifferentfromSwift/BAT(0.08:0.92),butisalmostthesameasCGRO/BATSE(0.25:0.75).ToexplainthisdifferenceforBAT,weexaminedthreeeffects:BATtriggertypes,energydependenceoftheduration,anddetectionsensitivitydifferencesbetweenBATandWAM.Asaresult,wefoundthattheratiodifferencecouldbeexplainedmainlybyenergydependenceincludingsoftextendedemissionsforshortGRBsandmuchbettersensitivityforBATwhichcandetectweak/longGRBs.Thereasonforthesameshort:longeventratioforBATSEandWAMwasconfirmedbycalculationusingthetriggerefficiencycurve.
