WepresenttheresultsofCO(J=3a€“2)on-the-flymappingsoftwonearbynon-barredspiralgalaxies,NGCa€‰628andNGCa€‰7793,withtheAtacamaSubmillimeterTelescopeExperimentataneffectiveangularresolutionof25a€3.WesuccessfullyobtainedglobaldistributionsofCO(J=3a€“2)emissionovertheentiredisksatasub-kpcresolutionforbothgalaxies.Weexaminedthespatiallyresolved(sub-kpc)relationshipbetweenCO(J=3a€“2)luminosities($$L^{prime}_{ mCO(3-2)}$$)andinfrared(IR)luminosities(LIR)forNGCa€‰628,NGCa€‰7793,andMa€‰83,andcompareditwithgloballuminositiesofaJCMT(JamesClerkMaxwellTelescope)NearbyGalaxyLegacySurveysample.Wefoundastrikinglinear$$L^{prime}_{ mCO(3-2)}$$a€“LIRcorrelationoverthefourordersofmagnitude,andthecorrelationisconsistentevenwiththatforultraluminousIRgalaxiesandsubmillimeter-selectedgalaxies.Inaddition,weexaminedthespatiallyresolvedrelationshipbetweenCO(J=3a€“2)intensities(ICO(3a€“2))andextinction-correctedstarformationrates(SFRs)forNGCa€‰628,NGCa€‰7793,andMa€‰83,andcompareditwiththatforGiantMolecularCloudsinMa€‰33and14nearbygalaxycenters.WefoundalinearICO(3a€“2)a€“SFRcorrelationwitha??1dexscatter.WeconcludethattheCO(J=3a€“2)star-formationlaw(i.e.,linear$$L^{prime}_{ mCO(3-2)}$$a€“LIRandICO(3a€“2)a€“SFRcorrelations)isuniversallyapplicabletovarioustypesandspatialscalesofgalaxies;fromspatiallyresolvednearbygalaxydiskstodistantIR-luminousgalaxies,withina??1dexscatter.
