Time Lag in the Intra-Day Variability of Sagittarius A between Light Curves at 90 and 102 GHz

WeperformedobservationsofthefluxdensitiesofSgrA$$^star$$at90and102GHzinordertodetectanytimelagbetweenthesefrequenciesusingtheNobeyamaMillimeterArray,whichwaspreviouslyreportedatlowerfrequencies.Wedetectedaradioflareduringtheobservationperiodon2005April6,andcalculatedthez-transformeddiscretecorrelationfunctionbetweenthelightcurves.Notimelagbetweenthesefrequencieswasdetected.Iftheexpandingplasmamodel,whichexplainsatimelagatlowerfrequencies,isvalid,thelightcurveat90GHzwouldbedelayedinrespecttothatat102GHz.ThisresultsuggeststhatplasmablobsejectedclosetotheGalacticcenterblackholemaybewidelydiverse,especiallyinopticalthickness.Anotherpossibilityisthatamajorportionofthefluxabove100GHzdoesnotoriginateinblobs.
