WepresenttheresultsofaspatiallyresolvedspectralanalysisfromfourSuzakuobservationscoveringthenortheasternrimoftheCygnusLoop.Atwo-$$kT_mathrm{e}$$non-ionizationequilibrium(NEI)modelfairlywellrepresentsourdata,whichconfirmstheNEIconditionoftheplasmathere.Themetalabundancesaredepletedrelativetothesolarvaluesalmosteverywhereinourfieldofview.Wefindabundanceinhomogeneitiesacrossthefield:thenorthernmostregion(RegionA)hasenhancedabsoluteabundancescomparedwithotherregions.Inaddition,therelativeabundancesofMg$$/$$OandFe$$/$$OinRegionAarelowerthanthesolarvalues,whilethoseintheotherregionsaretwicehigherthanthesolarvalues.Asfarasweareconcerned,neitheracircumstellarmedium,fragmentsofejecta,norabundanceinhomogeneitiesofthelocalinterstellarmediumaroundtheCygnusLoopcanexplaintherelativelyenhancedabundanceinRegionA.Thispointisleftasanopenquestionforfuturework.
