Anasymptoticanalysisisdevelopedtodescriberosettemodesofoscillationsinrotatingstars,whichhavebeenrecentlydiscoveredinnumericalcomputations.Thenameofthemodescomesfromcharacteristicrosettepatternsofthedistributionsofthekinetic-energydensityonthemeridionalplane.Ashavebeenshowninthepreviouspapersinthisseries,thephysicalreasonfortheformationofthesemodesistherotation-inducedinteractionamongseveralgravitymodeswithalmostthesamefrequenciesandsuccessivesphericaldegreesofthesameparity.Thisformationprocessisdescribedintheframeworkofthequasi-degenerateperturbationtheory.Inthispaper,thematrixeigenvalueproblem,whichappearsintheperturbationanalysis,issolvedanalytically,usingasymptoticexpressionsofeigenfunctions,whichareobtainedbyassumingthatthewavelengthofoscillationsinthehorizontaldirectionissufficientlysmall.Byfurtherassumingthatthenumberofinteractingmodesislarge,simpleexpressionsoftheeigenfunctionsandeigenfrequenciesofrosettemodesareobtained.Becausetheseexpressionscandescribetheessentialpartofcharacteristicsofrosettemodes,theyareusefulinunderstandinggeneralpropertiesofrosettemodesthatarecommontoanyequilibriumstructure.
