UsingobservationaldatafromtheSSRT,wehaveinvestigatedthebehavioroffourmid-andlow-latitudecoronalholes.ThecoronalholesunderstudyappearedasregionsofdecreasedemissionintensityrelativetothequietSunleveltotallyorpartiallycoincidentwithholesinEUVemission.Differenceintheelectrondensityandtemperatureindifferentholesordifferentpartsofaholecanaccountforthediversityofmanifestationsofcoronalholes.Estimatesshowedthattheinfluenceoftheseparametersisstrongestinthewavelengthrangeof2a€“5cm.Dependingonparticularvaluesofthecoronalelectrondensityandtemperature,coronalholesareeitherindistinguishablefromthebackgroundofthequietSun,orshowupasregionsofdecreasedorincreasedmicrowaveemission.
