This study shows the significant psychosocial impact of sec- ond pregnancy in a mother whose first child is on treatment for malig- nancy. Hence it is prudent to consider counselling parents on this aspect when a child is diagnosed with malignancy in the family. Background/ Objectives: To evaluate the quality of life in transfusion- dependent thalassemiachildrenattending thalassemia clinic in southern India.
