We present the main aspects of Webera€?s electrodynamics and of Maxwella€?s equations. We discuss Maxwella€?s point of view related to Webera€?s electrodynamics. We compare Webera€?s force with Lorentza€?s force. We analyse the relation between Webera€?s law and Maxwella€?s equations. Finally, we discuss some experiments performed and proposed with which we can distinguish Webera€?s force from Lorentza€?s one.
