摘要

This paper concentrates on the analysis of shielded metal arc welding parameter to maximize the depth of penetration using response surface methodology. Welding current, polarity of electrode and torch angle were taken as input parameter. Design of Experiment was accomplanished by full factorial method RSM based model has been developed to determine the depth of penetration attained by various welding parameter. The quadratic model developed using RsM shows high accuracy and canbe used for predicting within limit of factor investigated.
