We apply the bipolar model of oscillations in a chain system to the data set of standardatomic weights. 90% of these masses could be reproduced by this model and were expressedin continued fraction form, where all numerators are Euler’s number and thesum of the free link and all partial denominators yields zero. All outliers were either radioactiveor polynuclidic elements whose isotopic compositions as found in samples onEarth might not be fully representative for the mean values when considering samplesfrom all parts of the universe.
