Rupture and intussusception of the common bileduct (CBD) is an uncommon but severe adverse eventof ERCP. Few case reports of complete transection ofthe CBD during ERCP have been published, andthere is no consensus on the best managementoption for this problem. We describe a case ofsuccessful endoscopic restoration of a transected andprolapsed CBD (Video 1, available online at www.VideoGIE.org).
