摘要

Two field experiments were carried out during the two successive seasons of 2009 and 2010 at the experimental station of the National Research Centre at Nubaria region, (North Egypt) to study the response of sweet pepper plants to different sources of N fertilizers and sulphur addition. Each experiment included 10 treatments which were the simple combination between 2 levels of sulphur, i.e. 0 and 150 kg /fed. with 5 different sources of nitrogen, i.e. 3 organic sources (cattle, chicken , pigeon) as well as chemical nitrogen plus control treatment. The important data was as follows: 1- The best plant growth, total yield and nutritional values of fruit were resulted by fertilization plants with chemical nitrogen fertilizers at recommended dose in comparison to organic sources. 2- Addition of sulphur up to 150 kg/fed. enhanced plant growth measurements, fruit yield and its nutritional values of fruits if compared with the no S addition. 3- The best growth, the highest fruit yield and the best nutritional values of fruits were obtained when pepper plants received the chemical nitrogen fertilizer with 150 kg sulphur per fed.
