摘要

In the present work, temperature and frequency dependent properties of 4-Methoxytriphenylmethylchloride have been studied. The temperature is found to be directly proportional to the capacitance. The variation in dielectric constant (ε) and tangent loss (tan ?) occurs due to the existence of both the internal field in the material and the external ac field. In the tan ?, the appearance of peaks indicates the presence of the relaxing dipoles. Electrical resistivity is inversely proportional to the temperature and it seems to follow the power law Aω
