The educational status of the respondents shows that nearly 50% of them were below matriculation level. It has been observed that nearly one-third (76.6%) of the respondents consumed IFA tablets during the first ANC visits. Three-fourths (74.7%) of the respondents that ASHA recommended them to register in the public health facility for delivery. More than half (52.5%) of the respondents were accompanied by ASHA at the time of delivery. Majority (79.5 per cent) of PNC visits were done by ASHA. In 94.5 per cent of the cases, ASHA visited to see the mother and child at home.
