摘要

Based on China's trade structure optimization confirmed by trade competitiveness index, this paper constructed the Vector Auto Regression (VAR) model to study the short-term and long-term impact of China's OFDI on export trade structure. Empirical results show that: (1) Chinese OFDI has a promote effect on the exportation of capital & technology-intensive products and labor-intensive products, while exportation of resource-intensive products, there is a certain inhibitory effect; (2) In the short term, there is no causal relationship between resource-intensive exports and capital & technology-intensive exportation and OFDI, but there is a causal relationship between certain labor-intensive products exportation and OFDI; (3) Resource intensive products exportation to the impact of the OFDI generated a negative response, capital & technology intensive products exportation to the impact response experienced a process from negative to positive, while labor-intensive exportation experienced a process from positive to no effect.
