Structural Diversity of Gene Promoter Sequences in Drosophila Embryos Based on Comparison of Biological Gene Sequences

摘要

Drosophila is one of the most important model organisms in developmental biology and genetics. The analysis of its gene sequence is helpful for the study of the distribution and function of biological gene sequence promoter sequences. In this paper, the potential transcriptional regulatory motif in highly expressed and lowly expressed promoter of drosophila embryos was extracted. The frequency, location and composition of the motif in the gene were analyzed in detail by using the two-dimensional contingency table and statistic method, so as to find the sequence structure difference of drosophila embryo gene promoter. Through the study, it can be found that among the different expression levels, the majority of motifs in the different gene expression levels are preferred in introns, and introns are involved in gene expression and transcriptional regulation.
