We consider forced second order differential equation with $p$-Laplacian and nonlinearities given by a Riemann-Stieltjes integrals in the form of egin{equation*} left( p(t)phi _{gamma }left( x^{prime }(t)ight) ight) ^{prime }+q_{0}left( tight) phi _{gamma }left( x(t)ight) +int_{0}^{b}qleft( t,sight) phi _{lpha left( sight) }left( x(t)ight) dzeta left( sight) =e(t), end{equation*} where $phi _{lpha }left( uight) :=leftert uightert ^{lpha } mbox{${m sgn},$}u$, $gamma , bin left( 0,infty ight) ,$ $lpha in Cleft[ 0,bight) $ is strictly increasing such that $0leq lpha left( 0ight) 0$ on $ [t_{0},infty )$, $qin Cleft( left[ 0,infty ight) imes left[ 0,bight) ight) $, and $zeta :left[ 0,bight) ightarrow mathbb{R}$ is nondecreasing. Interval oscillation criteria of the El-Sayed type and the Kong type are obtained. These criteria are further extended to equations with deviating arguments. As special cases, our work generalizes, unifies, and improves many existing results in the literature.
