Fires caused by the malfunction of "electrical equipment" is one of the main causes of home fire accidents. These accidents are often caused by improper use of electrical equipment, and without limiting children's access to electric plugs. This study enrolled preschool children at the age of 5-7 as the subjects and used two teaching methods, sequential images and prohibition images, to understand the differences in learning that affect preschoolers' use of improperly used electrical equipment leading to fires. A total of 63 preschool children aged 5-7 years were selected as subjects for testing. The results of the study found that: (1) Over 90% of preschoolers had somewhat of an understanding that pulling wires is an unsafe behavior; (2) Whether the family taught how to escape is the primary cause of influencing the perception of overall unsafe behavior; (3) Image teaching helps preschoolers understand the correct behavior better. (4) Using sequential images to teach preschoolers can better help them understand the causes and consequences of accidents and fire hazards.
