This paper addresses the problem of sensor fault estimation and compensation of switched hybrid systems. Indeed, we propose to extend the Data-based Projection Method (EDPM) for the switched system in order to estimate the fault. The fault compensation is ensured by a fault tolerant control (FTC) based on the EDPM. This FTC is performed by combining the state feedback control with integral action and an additive control. In fact, the gain matrices of the state feedback control with integral action are computed by developing a new Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI). This technique provides optimal values of the gain matrices which allow to ensure the stability of the system and to compensate the effect of the fault correctly. A simulation example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and to compare its performance with existing methods.
