In this paper, a closed-loop system having multiple identical controllers with communication is considered and its stability is investigated. Then a communication design which realizes closed-loop stability is established, where it is shown that there always exists a way of introduction of the controllers’ communication such that the closed-loop systems is stable if the graph defined by the communication is balanced and weakly connected. In particular, it is clarified that this design is possible via at most one channel communication if the controller dynamics satisfies a certain condition.
