The last decades the decrease of the energy consumed by the building sector has become a crucial subject. This is the reason why the modelling and control of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) has become a very important scientifc feld. In such a system where the human factor and the uncertainties caused by its presence play a very important role the need for intelligent, cognitive modelling methodologies becomes obvious. The State Fuzzy Cognitive Maps Methodology combined with Nonlinear Hebbian Learning techniques are used to model the behaviour of a BEMS and improve its response.
