In the past it has not been possible to supply summaries of articles classed as clinical notes in Interlingua. This has been because the cost of supplying abstracts in Spanish as well as in Interlingua has prohibited the provision of summaries in both these languages for more than the full-length original articles. It will now be possible to supply summaries in Interlingua for all articles describing original laboratory investigations and clinical studies. This is because it no longer seems necessary to provide summaries in both Spanish and Interlingua.
