The authors conclude that the major improvements occurred in both groups at the end of first 3 weeks. The addition of flunisolide was judged most effective in the global assessment and it tended to improve symptoms, to decrease nasal inflammatory cells, to normalize ultrasound scans, and to aid regression of radiographic abnormalities.
