A 62-year-old male patient reported with a complaint of missing teethand diffculty in eating. Intraoral examination showed completelyedentulous maxillary and mandibular arches. Extraoral examinationrevealed incidental fnding of a smooth-surfaced swelling, measuringapproximately 3.2×1.4 cm, involving the right side of upper lip[Table/Fig-1]. Detailed history revealed that swelling was presentfor the past six years and showed spontaneous regression in sizeapproximately within four days and again increased in size overthe duration of ten days. The patient denied any pain or alteredsensation and could not recount any history of trauma to the area. His past medical history and family history was non-contributory.On palpation, the lesion was fairly well circumscribed, non-tender,freely movable and relatively frm in consistency. No pulsation orblanching on pressure was appreciated. Based on history andclinical examination, a provisional diagnosis of chronic non-specifcgranulomatous lesion involving the upper lip was made.
