One of the key factor to sustain diesel power plant energy performance is control thecriticalparameters. O2 and flue gastemperatur on stack are criticalparameters towardenergylosses. By knowingO2 and CO2 parametersthroughmeasurementitcanbecalculated air ratio and excess air. Futherenergylossescanbe determined by using air ratio and flue gastemperature data. Energylosses are a step to calculatediesel power plant efficiency.
