A high-yield silver alkynyl assembly [Ag _(8) (CC ~( t ) Bu) _(5) (CF _(3) COO) _(3) (CH _(3) CN)] _( n ) ( 1 ) constructed from [AgCC ~( t ) Bu] _( n ) ligand, CF _(3) COOAg and CH _(3) CN auxiliary ligands with a one-dimensional infinite chain structure has been obtained in one pot. Compound 1 has been well-defined and characterized. The photocurrent properties and the temperature-sensitive luminescent properties of 1 have been investigated.
