The public health scenario in India is grim. It is an open secret that Indiadoesn’t spend adequate public money on healthcare. Interestingly,the public sector health expenditure is only 25%, compared to 75%in case of the private sector. In case of other countries, the publicsector bears 50% of the total health expenditure.
