Peer review is an activity, that is very important and an integralcomponent of the editorial process and is an essential element ofscholarly publishing. It plays a crucial role in not only increasing thequality of the manuscript, but also enhancing the prestige of thejournal. Peer reviewing is often learned ‘on the job’ without anyspecialised training.
