This article aims at showing the similarities between the financial and the tech sectors in their use and reliance oninformation and algorithms and how such dependency affects their attitude towards regulation. Drawing on Pasquale’srecommendations for reform, it sets out a proposal for a constant and independent scrutiny of internet service providers.
