Electrochemical Sensor Based on Nafion/Gold Nanoparticle/Electrochemically Reduced Graphene Oxide Composite-Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode for the Detection of Diuron
A novel sensitive electrochemical sensor based on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with aNafion/gold nanoparticle/electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (Nafion/AuNPs/RGO) compositemembrane was applied to detect diuron. The Nafion/AuNPs/RGO composites with the advantages of alarge surface area, specific binding sites and a faster electron transfer rate were analysed. Thesynergistic effects of the RGO and AuNPs composites and the effective absorption of diuron resultedin a high interfacial conductivity. Therefore, the fabricated sensor showed excellent performance. Theelectrode exhibited a linear response from 1.0×10-12 M to 1.0×10-9 M for diuron and a detection limitof 4.1×10-13 M under the optimized conditions. Accordingly, reproducibility, stability and antiinterference tests were carried out. Furthermore, the designed sensor was utilized to detect diuron inreal samples to evaluate the accuracy of the method. The recovery of diuron was 91.2%-108.2%. Thisapproach provides a new avenue for the sensitive detection of diuron in practical applications..
