Medications play a major role in the cure, palliation and inhibition of disease. However, they also expose patients to drug related problems (DRPs). Clinical pharmacists can contribute in safe medication use by providing information about comprehensive management to patients and medical staffs. Hence, the present study aimed; to characterize DRPs and assess impact of clinical pharmacy services in prevention of such problems at pediatric hematology/oncology unit of Tikur Anbessa Specialized hospital.
