We are the committee of scholars charged by the Association for Information Systems (AIS) College of Senior Scholars (CSS) to report diversity data for the editorial boards of the basket of eight journals, while considering the diversity of information system (IS) discipline as a whole. We write regarding our report“Editorial Board Diversity at the Basket of Eight Journals: A Report to the College of Senior Scholars”. The committee was formed through an open call for volunteers in the College of Senior Scholars, and everyone who volunteered was appointed to the committee. We would have preferred a larger and more diverse committee, but no one else agreed to serve. Initially, we prepared the report for only the 2020 CSS meeting; however, we felt that we should make it available to all IS scholars, so we submitted it for consideration for publication in the report section of the Communications of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS).
