. This article proposes a method for managing the innovative development of industry based on the principle of technological homogeneity, subject to the limitations on demand. An optimal production plan model is developed; the possibilities of its practical implementation are discussed. It is shown that the computational problems of solving the optimization task include the dimension of the problem, multiextremality, and integrality of the variables. The conclusion is made about the variability of ways to achieve the economic efficiency of structural transformations of the high technology industry.
