In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control strategy is proposed for uncertain switched nonlinear time-delay systems with state constraints. All system states are guaranteed to maintain the prescribed regions whereby barrier Lyapunov function (BLF). By choosing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, the influence of time-delay is effectively counteracted. The fuzzy logic systems are explored to approximate the unknown dynamics. Combining the Lyapunov theory with average dwell time (ADT) method, it is shown that all states of the entire closed-loop systems are bounded under switching signals and the predefined constraints are not violated. Finally, simulation results are given to show the validity of the designed scheme.
