摘要

The "learning organization" is one of those concepts that gives legitimacy to organizations that claim to have adopted it. On the other hand, the concept is vague and not that easily applied. There is, thus, a risk that organizations avoid adopting the learning organization even if it would be beneficial for them. There is also a risk that organizations claim that they have adopted the "learning organization" while not having changed anything in practice. As "learning organization" is a vague concept, it is difficult for anybody to convincingly claim that any certain organization is not a learning organization.
