摘要

The economic instability poses great challenges to organizations, forcing them to limit their initiatives and shrink their budgets especially in the area of learning and development. What implications do these actions have for the business training market?Learning takes place as soon as we wake up in the morning, and stops only, and not even then, when we go to sleep. We turn to Google when we stumble upon a problem or to Babelfish if we need a translation. Thus, we learn continuously, and it does not change under the influence of crises. On the contrary, US and European research confirms that crisis is the best environment for learning. However, a crisis does have impact on the forms of learning that employees and organizations choose. This is where formal learning is clearly at the disadvantage.
