摘要

Academic literacy represents a set of skills which all students are expected to acquire as the basis of a successful learning experience. The prime focus of the research was to identify the most efficacious and efficient means of communicating the aforementioned important concepts relating to academic literacy to Chinese students. The prima facie research to date suggests that the materials developed are both efficacious and efficient and capable of conveying important messages. Based on the positive outcomes of the project it is evident that this approach has applications beyond tertiary education and can guide workplace learning approaches to prepare students for a professional future in the globalised world.
