Training and development has always played a key role in ensuring that organizations remain competitive. In today's volatile business world, it's arguably become even more crucial. Fortunately, most company leaders are aware of this importance. While awareness is one thing, focus is an entirely different proposition. And even though the majority of leaders remain on the ball where training is concerned, the same cannot always be assumed for the development part of the equation. This evident disparity is similarly reflected within current research.
