Plantar Fasciitis (pronounced PLAN-tar fashee-EYE-tiss). I didn't even know how to pronounce that term but according to Orthopedics Today, plantar fasciitis is the most common adult foot problem! What I did know is that when I would get up in the morning and put my foot to the floor, it would take me a few seconds to be able to walk because of the severe pain I was experiencing. I had a sharp pain in the inside part of the bottom of my heel when I put my weight on it. The pain made even a short walk so difficult. Over time I had to sacrifice doing everyday activities I used to enjoy.
