The Western Dredging Association's 32nd and Texas A&M University's 43rd annual congress that takes place in San Antonio, Texas, from 10-13 June 2012. WEDA executive director Larry Patella points to the role dredging plays in creating a strong economy and cleaner environment, and tells DPC: "Apart from outstanding technical papers, there's the 20th annual George Watts golf tournament, tours, the hosted ice-breaker, a gala dinner dance, breakfasts, lunches and an interesting spouses' programme."
