At the recent India Ports Conference in Mumbai, APM Terminals CEO Kim Fejfer said the country remains significantly under represented as a player in global trade - something his company is eager to help change. Fejfer also identified barriers to achieving such growth, however: "Port tariff regulations that penalise increased throughput and productivity will not assist in developing needed infrastructure," he noted.
