In that short space of time he's not only won approval for a fourth box terminal, with a fifth under discussion but on 1 March this year got the go-ahead from the government's infrastructure cabinet committee for perhaps the most important project of them all - the long awaited access channel capital dredging. "We've received three bids for the project, one from Belgian contractor Jan De Nul, one from Dutch contractor Boskalis and the third from a consortium of Dredging International and Van Oord," he told DPC.
