Straddle carrier accident costs at New Zealand's Ports of Auckland Ltd (PoAL) have been slashed by 78% thanks to a new system from SattelrnThe GPS guidance system, which includes impact sensors, is now installed on all straddle carriers and "functions as a highly effective quality and safety management tool," said PoAL.
