摘要

The effect of immiscibility induced by the dissolution of volatile components in magmas pertains to the controversial and insufficiently studied problems concerning the interaction between volatile components and magmas. At the same time, it is known that such an effect is among the most important mechanisms of magmatic fractionation and ore formation. In this work, we present the results of an experimental study into the melting of sulfide-bearing tholeiitic and olivine basalts and picrobasalt in the presence of hydrous, hydrous-carbonate, and alkali hydrous-carbonate fluids within a temperature range of 1250-1300℃ and under a pressure of 1.1-2.5 GPa. These results characterize conditions of various types of immiscibility in fluid-bearing silicate melts.
