Designed for North American street light installations, the LXMG221D-0700040-D2F LED driver from Microsemi elimi nates bulky step-down transformers typically used, providing a single-step conversion from 347 VAC or 480 VAC down to less than 57 VDC. Features include integrated fault detection and management functionality to respond more quickly to light fixture failures. Additional features include constant current single 70-mA string applications using -12-17 LEDs without flickering (up to 40W output), a power factor greater than 0.9 and THD less than 15 percent across the entire input voltage range at full load, dimming to 10 percent via 0-10V PWM controls or potentiom eters, and fault management feature to sense and manage failed (short and open) LED situations.
