The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is North America's premier manufacturing technology exhibition and will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. IMTS is held each even numbered year at Chicago's McCormick Place Complex. IMTS is American manufacturing's Mecca, featuring 1,900 exhibitors occupying a staggering 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space. The show is sponsored by the Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT) and will be held September 8-13. More than 100,000 visitors from 112 countries are expected. At each biennial IMTS, the world's leading machine tool, software, and accessory manufacturers showcase their latest technology, and the event has become a "must see" for those companies that want to see the future of manufacturing.
