Mfg4 (Manufacturing 4 the Future) was held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT on May 6-8, 2014, and EDM Today was there for you. Mfg4 is an SME sponsored event held during the even numbered years when Eastec is not held. Mfg4 is a collaborative event specifically aimed at the aerospace, defense, medical, and micro industries, and its emphasis is on a series of conference presentations dedicated to each of the target industries. During the three days of the event there were 39 conference presentations. Both exhibitor participation and attendance were noticeably improved over the inaugural event held in 2012.
