摘要

In 1984 Don Miller, a former machinist and recent Business / Marketing graduate, entered the EDM industry as a salesman. "Having been a machinist and a shop manager for a 15 man job shop I naturally felt comfortable talking about manufacturing technology. When I first saw a sample of what wire EDM could do in a job interview, I was hooked -1 knew I wanted to sell it". Don is the distributer for Sodick in Northern California. Don firmly believes that local service can be a significant part of a machine sales effort. "Most problems with machines are relatively minor and almost always prevented by maintenance, that's why I started EDM Preventive Maintenance back in 2005 to do those little thingsthat keep the machines running".
